The ${alpha}$ -catenin-negative parental HCT-8/R1 cells (left panels) were compared to the cloned transfectant HCT-8/R1/T31 (right panels). Cells were stained for the Myc tag (exogenous ${alpha}$ T-catenin), for E-cadherin, desmoglein-2 or ZO-1 antigens.
