Uptake of [³H]3-O-methyl-D-glucose was then measured at 6°C in the presence of increasing concentrations of hexose as described in the Materials and Methods. Transport parameters were estimated by direct fitting of a rectangular hyperbola to the data using non-linear regression (Sigma Plot, Jandel). Data shown are means±s.e.m. (3).
