[35S]-Methionine-labeled polypetides were separated by SDS-PAGE
(11% acrylamide) and visualized by fluorography. The additional smaller
polypeptides (B, lane 3) with mobilities of ZLAP2
and ZLAP2ß
probably result from the internal start of translation at triplets coding for
methionine at positions 241 and 447/448 of ZLAP2
. Molecular masses of
reference proteins (in kDa) are marked in (A).
