KAY302 (wild-type) and KAY 97 (
sla1) cells were processed for
immunofluorescence microscopy as described in Materials and Methods. Actin was
stained using rhodamine-phalloidin, and Rvs167p was localised using antibodies
raised against the protein. Although actin organisation is altered in the
sla1
strain, Rvs167p still localises to these aberrant
structures, which suggests that its association with actin is not mediated by
