Wild-type and uw-mutant melanocytes were stained with antibodies and fluorescent probes as noted in the Materials and Methods section, and localization of tyrosinase, Tyrp1 or Dct (red) with KDEL or HMB-45 (green) was analyzed by confocal microscopy. Colocalization of antibodies is indicated by the yellow color. Nuclei are identified by the blue DAPI stain. Bar, 20 µm.
