incubated until a confluent monolayer was formed. Cells were then
serum-starved overnight in DMEM containing 0.1% BSA, treated for 2 hours with
10 µg/ml mitomycin C to inhibit cell proliferation, and a cell-free space
was created by scraping through the monolayer. Migration was induced by
addition of 10 µM LPA. Results from one representative experiment of three
independent studies are shown.
