Normal human lymphoblastoid cells were treated with 8-MOP plus UVA light (6 kJ m-2), fixed at the indicated times post-treatment and stained independently using either anti-{alpha}-spectrin, anti-FANCA or anti-XPF antibodies. (A) The percentage of nuclei showing multiple {alpha}SpII{Sigma}*, FANCA and XPF foci was counted over a period of 0-24 hours after treatment. Nuclei in 100 cells were counted at each time point. (B) The average number of damage-induced {alpha}SpII{Sigma}*, FANCA and XPF foci per nucleus was counted at time points from 0-24 hours after treatment. In each case, 100 nuclei were counted.
