Fig. 1. The ZO-1^7-444 fusion protein interacts with the carboxyl termini of Cx43, Cx45 and Cx46, but not Cx32. The ZO-1^7-444 fusion protein was fractionated on agarose beads conjugated to the carboxyl termini of Cx43, Cx45, Cx46 or Cx32. The resins were washed and the bound material was analyzed by SDS-PAGE and fluorography. The position of molecular mass markers is given in kDa.
