The immunodepleted cytosols were analyzed by immunoblot to detect Bet3 (upper panel) or {alpha}-SNAP (lower panel). (B and C) Semi-intact NRK cells were incubated in transport cocktail with mock-drlc (lanes 1 and 2) or Bet3-drlc (lanes 3-7) supplemented with the indicated amounts (µg) of GST-Bet3 (lanes 4-7). Transport reactions were incubated for 60 minutes on ice (lane 1) or at 32°C (lanes 2-7). The extent of VSV-G transport was monitored (B) and quantified (C).
