MØs from wild-type (WT) and CCR5 knockout (CCR5 KO) mice were incubated with parasites (6:1 ratio of tachyzoites to cells) or LPS (100 ng/ml), and at the indicated time points, samples were subjected to SDS-PAGE followed by western blotting with antibodies against total and phosphorylated forms of PKB, ERK1/2 and p38 MAPK. The experiment was repeated twice with the same result.
