SCC-VII cells were incubated in complete culture medium in the absence (control) or presence of either 1 µM monensin or 10 mM NH₄Cl for 10 hours at 37°C. The cells were then fixed, permeabilized and incubated with antibodies to cathepsin D and LAMP-1.
