Serum-starved A549 cells were pretreated in the presence or absence of 0.1 µM LB (15 minutes; A), 2 µM Cyt D (15 minutes; B), 1 µM phalloidin (overnight, C), 1 µM Colchicine (4 hours, D) and then exposed to 21 or 1.5% O2 for 60 minutes. Na,K-ATPase endocytosis was studied by biotin labeling of surface proteins followed by streptavidin pull-down and western blot analysis using a specific anti {alpha}1-subunit antibody.
