(C) Cells were transduced with AAV-LacZ either without or after treatment with HU. Nuclear fractions were isolated at different times p.i. and the amount of rAAV genomes in nuclear fractions was determined by real-time quantitative PCR. The mean ± s.d. per time point is shown. Purity of nuclear fractions was confirmed by western blot analysis (see supplementary material Fig. S1).
