BHK cells, overexpressing GFP-MIR1, were analyzed both by GFP fluorescence and by immunofluorescence with antibody 6-11B-1, which recognizes acetylated tubulin. The arrow indicates a transfected cell containing long-lived, acetylated microtubules. The arrowhead points to an untransfected cell.
