Movie 1
Early development of a control C. elegans embryo from pronuclear meeting to the four-cell stage. The speed of the movie is 90 times faster than real time.
Movie 2
A cytokinesis defect in early development of the unc-60A (RNAi) embryo. In the first attempt of cell division, a cleavage furrow is formed and progressed, but reversed before completion of cleavage. The speed of the movie is 90 times faster than real time.
Movie 3
A patterning defect in early development of the unc-60A (RNAi) embryo. Cytokinesis and spindle positioning were normal. However, positioning of the blastomeres at the four-cell stage is different from the control embryo. In addition, active protrusion and retraction of membranous structures were seen at the two-cell stage. The speed of the movie is 90 times faster than real time.
