Fusion proteins were incubated in the presence of hippocampal homogenate (H) or purified G_ß proteins (Calbiochem) (G). The beads were washed, and bound proteins were eluted in sample buffer, fractionated by SDS-PAGE and subjected to western blot analysis. The nitrocellulose membrane was probed with an anti-G polyclonal antibody. These results are representative of five independent experiments.
