We apologise for several errors that occurred in both the print and online versions of this paper. The corrections are detailed below.

Materials and Methods, Materials, lines 5-7 (p. 2520) currently read:

Anti-actin (A 2066) and phalloidin-TRITC polyclonals were from Sigma. Polyclonal anti-tubulin monoclonal was a gift from N. Lamb (Montpellier, France).

Correct version: Polyclonal anti-actin (A 2066) and phalloidin-TRITC were from Sigma. Anti-tubulin monoclonal was a gift from N. Lamb (Montpellier, France).

Results, PTPL1-FERM domain binds PtdIns(4,5)P2 in vitro, paragraph 1, lines 12-16 (p. 2524) currently read:

A very weak interaction with PtdIns(3,4,5)P3 was sometimes observed, whereas no interaction was detected with nonphosphorylated phosphatidylinositol and other control phospholipids (PA, PS, LPA, LPC, PE, PE, S1P).

Correct version: A very weak interaction with PtdIns(3)P was sometimes observed, whereas no interaction was detected with nonphosphorylated phosphatidylinositol and other control phospholipids (PA, PS, LPA, LPC, PE, PC, S1P).

Fig. 1 legend (p. 2521), lines 4-6 currently read:

Correct version: The modular protein domains are indicated in circles and hexagons.

Fig. 1 legend (p. 2521), lines 23-25 currently read:
