Movie 1. Quick Time Video Movies 1A-B corresponding to Fig. 4A,B show the time-lapse videos of EGFP-actin dynamics in RAW264.1 cells during phagocytosis of IgG-Es. Living fluorescence microscopy of a control cell (Movie 1A) shows that binding of IgG-Es induces F-actin assembly and F-actin-enriched phagocytic-cup formation. It is notable that the F-actin ring constricts the phagocytic cup and squeezes the IgG-Es. In a ML-7-treated cell (Movie 1B), F-actin assembly and phagocytic-cup formation occur, but the cup does not constrict or close.
