Fibroblasts, grown as described in the legend to Fig. 1, were incubated for 2 hours with increasing concentrations of Type III fibronectin modules in the presence of fibronectin monoclonal antibodies IST-9 (2 µg/ml) (A), 5C11F3 (8 µg/ml) (B), Clone 568 (2 µg/ml) (C) or IST-5 (2 µg/ml) (D). Following treatments, cell layers were washed and fixed, and bound antibody was determined by ELISA. Data shown represents the mean and standard error of an experiment performed in triplicate and represents one of three experiments.
