Samples were counterstained for DNA with Hoechst (D, I and N). Note the partially condensed distribution of NuMA and wrinkled distribution of lamin B in shrunken apoptotic cells. Hoechst stain shows that DNA is partially condensed. These cells are p85 fragment of PARP-1 positive (arrows). Bar, 10 µm.
