Movies 1 and 2. The movies show chromosomal movements in prometaphase HeLa cells stably expressing Histone-2B-GFP. 600 images were acquired at 3 second intervals (total imaging time of 30 minutes) and converted into movies using QuickTime Pro v. 5.0. QuickTime movies were assembled to play back at 10 frames per second.
