QuickTime Video JPEG Image

Movie 1

Movie 1. Analysis of clathrin dynamics in a migrating cell in a TIR-FM video stream (100 frames, 300 milliseconds per frame). This video shows a magnified portion of the cell from Figure 1 and demonstrates the dynamics of dsRed-clathrin puncta associated with the basal plasma membrane of this migrating cell. The puncta within the triangle in the first frame moves laterally to the right of the field. The video depicts the disappearance of the clathrin puncta surrounded by the circle and the appearance or formation of a clathrin spot within the square.

Movie 2

Migration of MDCK cells expressing dsRed-clathrin. This video is of a 1 hour epifluorescence time-lapse, imaging 1 frame every 30 seconds. Cells were imaged migrating towards the area of monolayer wounding (the top of the field).  The scale bar equals 20 mm.
