(A) Suspended SMC were incubated for 30 minutes with 25 µM SB203580 or vehicle and then plated on fibronectin-coated coverslips for 3 hours in the presence or absence of PDGF (10 ng/ml). Fixed SMC were double-labeled for F-actin and Hsp27. Bar, 10 µm. (B) Suspended SMC were plated on fibronectin-coated coverslips for 3 hours in the presence of PDGF.
