Files in this Data Supplement:
Movie 1. Control cell undergoing cleavage in meiosis I. Times are in hours: minutes: seconds.
Movie 2. Control cell undergoing cleavage in meiosis I. Note the finger-like projections at the poles. Times are in hours: minutes: seconds.
Movie 3. Control cell undergoing cleavage in meiosis I. Note the finger-like projections at the poles. Times are in hours: minutes: seconds.
Movie 4. Cell treated with 10 mM wortmannin (added at 13:03:00) and washed out (at 13:20:00). The wortmannin causes blebbing that increases dramatically after washout. Note that cytokinesis is arrested in wortmannin, but the cell continues to cleave some minutes after the wortmannin is washed out. Times are in hours: minutes: seconds.
Movie 5. Cell treated with 100 mM wortmannin (added at 15:44:00) and washed out (at 15:55:30). Blebbing also increases dramatically in this cell after washout of wortmannin. Cleavage is arrested in wortmannin but continues to completion after washout. Times are in hours: minutes: seconds.
Movie 6. Cell treated with 4 mM U73122 (added at 13:18:30) and washed out (at 13:24:30). The diameter of the cleavage furrow of this cell is shown graphically in Fig. 8. The finger-like protrusions at the poles disappear during treatment but return after washout. The furrow regresses during treatment and continues regressing after washout; however, some time later cleavage resumes normally. Times are in hours: minutes: seconds.
Movie 7. Cell treated with 5 mM U73122 (added at 12:07:30) and washed out (at 12:14:00). Note that the finger-like projections at the poles convert to broad protrusions upon treatment but return after washout. The cleavage furrow regressed during treatment and the cell did not resume cleavage after washout. Times are in hours: minutes: seconds.
