An A-Z of the Rho network
The Rho-family GTPases Rho, Rac and Cdc42 regulate a wide variety of cellular processes in response to extracellular signals. These processes range from cytoskeletal rearrangement and membrane trafficking to gene expression. There are numerous Rho effectors involved, and even more signalling intermediates and effectors. In Cell Science at a Glance (see p. 5457 + poster), Martin Schwartz makes keeping track of all these pathways easier, summarizing their key components in a single figure.
