  Fig. S1. Histone H3 is distributed throughout the nucleus over the course of the cell cycle. A procyclic form cell line (PFJEL7) expressing H3-YFP (green) was fixed and stained with DAPI to detect DNA (blue) at (A) interphase, (B, C) mitosis and (D) karyokinesis. n, nucleus; k, kinetoplast. Images were captured using a Nikon Optiphot microscope equipped with a Spot RT monochrome camera and were pseudo-colored and merged in Adobe Photoshop. Bar, 2 mm.
