An overlay image of a 3T3-L1 adipocyte co-expressing GFP-PIKfyve (green) and IRAP-mRFP1 (red) and showing GFP-PIKfyve co-localisation with IRAP-mRFP1 (yellow). The three GFP-PIKfyve and IRAP-mRFP1 co-expressing vesicles of interest are denoted by boxes B, C and D in Fig. 4A of the manuscript. Vesicles B and C traffic from the cell periphery towards the perinuclear region. Vesicle D appears to enter the peri-nuclear region and exhibit behaviour suggestive of fusion with other membranous structures. The animation comprises 40 images each taken 1 second apart.
