Frames are a projection of five z-sections through the cell. Time points relative to permeabilization of the nuclear envelope are indicated. Note the significant detachment of TPPP/p25 before nuclear envelope breakdown (–1:00); a homogenous distribution of the protein shortly after nuclear envelope breakdown (+1:00), when the microtubule network is still very well organized in NRK cells (Beaudouin et al., 2002); and the weak accumulation of TPPP/p25 over the mitotic spindle (+12:00).
