induces sequential activation of Cdc42- and p38/p53-dependent pathways that antagonistically regulate filopodia formationFiles in this Data Supplement:
Movie 1. Time-lapse differential interference contrast light microscopy on TNFa-treated MEFs. TNFa induced long and dynamic protrusions which rapidly extended and shortened at the cell surface. Morphology and dynamics of these structures are unambiguously characteristics of filopodia. The number of filopodia rapidly increased after TNFa exposure and reached a peak by 10 minutes, then decreased at later times.
