Movie 1A2 in culture shows a time-lapse movie of the normal spreading and interaction of control 1A2 NIH3T3 cells in the presence of mifepristone.
Movie 2D3 in culture shows a time-lapse movie of the substrate adhesion and movement of mifepristone-treated, DEP-1-expressing 2D3 NIH3T3 cells. These cells show aberrant substrate attachment, spreading and movement.
Movie 1A2 in PDGF shows a time-lapse movie of a representative control mifepristone-treated 1A2 NIH3T3 cell in the presence of a gradient of PDGF. The cell displays directed locomotion up the gradient toward the source of PDGF.
Movie 2D3 in PDGF shows a time-lapse movie of a representative mifepristone-treated, DEP-1 expressing 2D3 NIH3T3 cell in a gradient of PDGF. The cell displays random motility and does not recognise nor move up the concentration gradient of PDGF.

The cell shows the normal development and maturation of distinct focal adhesions starting at the leading edge and maturing into arrowhead-like or elongated focal contacts.
Movie 2D3 IRM leading edge shows a time lapse movie using interference reflection optics of a DEP-1-expressing 2D3 NIH3T3 cell in the presence of mifepristone. The cell shows smaller focal adhesions at the leading edge which do not mature into larger elongated substratum contacts.
