Fig. S2. Functional analysis of shRNAs directed against Hint1 using the pJOsiCheck reporter system. Interference of shRNAs results in a degradation of a transcript encoding luciferase fused to the cDNA of Hint1. In consequence, Renilla luciferase activity is reduced compared to firefly luciferase used for normalization. In these assays shRNA-Hint1430/431 results in a dose-dependent reduction of Renilla luciferase activity whereas the shRNA-Hint1432/433 only revealed minor effects.
