Movie 1. Cells gradually regain Cry1C-sensitivity during cell-cycle progression while recovering from G2/M-arresting treatment. Normal Sf9 cells (left) and cells released from G2/M arrest by nocodazole washing (right) were exposed to Cry1C (300 ng/ml) for 18 hours. Dying cells with disrupted plasma membrane (red) were detected by ethidium homodimer-1 staining of nucleic acids and examined by fluorescence microscopy. This movie extends the images of Fig. 3A.
