(A) Monolayers of the indicated GM7373 clones adherent to immobilized GST-Tat were wounded and incubated for 24 hours (hatched bars) or 48 hours (black bars) in medium containing 0.4% FCS. (B) Monolayer of parental GM7373 cells adherent to immobilized GST-Tat were incubated for 48 hours in the presence of the indicated inhibitors (same doses as in Fig. 5D). At the end of the incubation period the area of the wound was quantified by image analysis. Each point is the mean ± s.e.m. of four to eight fields measured in one experiment out of three that gave similar results. The results are expressed as percentage repair with respect to untreated monolayers adherent to immobilized Tat.
