(B) Apparent permeability (Papp) of 10 kDa fluorescent dextran (FD10) measured under the same conditions. Data are expressed as mean±s.e.m. of n=4-6 monolayers in each group. Significant differences in Papp were observed; **P<0.01; *P<0.05 compared with control as indicated.
