M2R cells were preincubated with Pd-Bchl-Ser at LD90 (DC) and then illuminated, reincubated (0 minutes, 45 minutes and 24 hours) and then stained with PI. Time points indicate the incubation time following illumination excluding the 15 minutes staining process. Phase-contrast microscopy is presented in the left column and fluorescence microscopy with PI staining is presented in the right column.
