HsCYK4 and MKLP1 (centralspindlin) localize both at the tips of astral microtubules towards the equator and at central spindle microtubules and recruit ECT2 at the equatorial cortex and central spindle microtubules. ECT2 then induces RhoA accumulation by elevating RhoA activity.
