Fig. S1. (A) cpar3 expression is detected in the medial region of rostral somites (white arrowhead) and in the neural tube (black arrowhead). (B) cpar3L mRNA is weakly expressed in the neural tube (black arrowhead). (C,C’) In sections of HH18 embryos, cpar3 expression can be detected throughout the neuroepithelium. Magnification, 40×. (D) N-Cadherin is co-immunoprecipitated with the cPAR3 protein in lysates of neuroepithelial cells.
Movie 1. Live imaging of neuroepithelial cells expressing GFP-gpi. Cells were electroporated with a DNA construct coding GFP-gpi, which becomes incorporated in the plasma membrane. A cycling cell (red arrowhead) moves apically and divides near the apical surface; apical side is up. Images were collected at 13-minute intervals. The movie shows a series of nine frames.
Movie 2. Live imaging of neuroepithelial cells overexpressing cPAR3. Cells were electroporated with two DNA constructs: one encoding untagged cPAR3 and another encoding GFP-gpi. A GFP-gpi-positive cell, overexpressing cPAR3, is unable to undergo INM and divides away from the apical surface (red arrow); apical side is up. Images were collected at 9-minute intervals. The movie shows a series of eight frames.
