  Fig. S1. GFP-p150^Glued localises to centrosomes, spindle microtubules and the midbody. Stable mitotic S2 cells expressing GFP-tagged p150^Glued fusion protein were fixed, stained for GFP (green and lower panels in monochrome) and α-tubulin (red) and DNA (blue). Note the localisation of the GFP-tagged p150^Glued protein to the microtubules from prophase until cytokinesis, a stage in which the GFP-tagged protein also localises to the midbody. Bar, 10 μm.

  Fig. S2. Aurora B in Glued depleted anaphases. Glued dsRNA transfected cells were stained for Aurora B (green and monochrome in the lower panel), microtubules (red) and DNA (blue). The panel shows a defective anaphase cell (bottom right) and a cell during metaphase (top left). Note the more intense aurora B signal at the centromeres of chromatids that had not segregated (white triangle) compared with the centromeric signal of the metaphase cell. Bar, 10 μm.
