  Movie 1. This video, related to Fig. 6 of the manuscript, shows the formation of punctate structures from ER at the tips of new paxillin foci at the cell margins. PTP1B null cells co-transfected with GFP-PTP1B DA and mRFP-paxillin were plated on fibronectin-coated coverslips, and left attach for 30 minutes before imaging. Images were taken every 2 minutes. Note that punctate structures become larger after arrival of additional ER tubules over the cell-matrix sites. Video format, WRAW; normal frame size, 236 x 202 pixels (depicted double size, 472 x 404); 7 frames/second; data size 8.1 MB.
