  Fig. S1. Effect of CTCF-FL and CTCF-ZF on the growth of K562 cells in clonogenicity assays. Exponentially growing K562/S cells were transfected with 5 μg of the pEGFP-C2 vector (GFP), the GFP-CTCF full-length construct (GFP-CTCF) or the GFP-zinc-finger deletion mutant (GFP-ZF). (Top panel) Photographs of the colonies arisen from K562/S cells transfected with the indicated pEGFP-derived constructs after 12 days of selection in the presence of G418. (Bottom panel) Colonies were counted 12 days after transfection. The maximum score (K562/S cells transfected with the pEGFP vector) was set to 100%. Bars indicate s.e.m. of three independent experiments.
