  Fig. S1. Localization of EGFP-Sgo1 in live HeLa cells. HeLa cells stably expressing EGFP-tagged Sgo1 were grown on a chambered coverglass and time-lapse movies were taken every 5 minutes on a Olympus IX70 microscope equipped with the Deleta Vision system. To visualize chromatin, 0.2 mg/ml Hoechst33342 dye was added to the media. Representative image sequences were extracted from longer-term imaging experiments and aligned on the time axis according to nuclear envelope breakdown. In the lower two experiments, cells were treated either with 3 μM of an Aurora B inhibitor, ZM447439, or 100 ng/ml nocodazole for 30 minutes before filming.
