Fig. 6. Identification of Bax genotypes by PCR. Samples 1 and 2 are from Bax-/- mice, resulting in a 200 bp single band, amplified from the Neo cassette inserted to mutate the Bax gene. Samples 3 and 4 are from Bax+/+ mice, resulting in a 304 bp single band amplified from the endogenous Bax gene. Sample 5 is from a Bax+/- mice, resulting in two bands (200 and 304 bp).
