Overexpression of the titin-binding site in obscurin or Obsl1 (Ob-Ig1 or Obsl1-Ig1, respectively) leads to loss of endogenous obscurin (Ob58-59) from the M-band. Similarly, transfection of titin M10 reduces M-band-bound obscurin. Titin-normalized obscurin channel analysis of obscurin and/or titin, individual channels and overlay are shown.
