COS-7 cells expressing the GFP-tagged PH domain of OSBP1 (OSBP-PH) and MDCK cells expressing the GFP-tagged PH domain of FAPP1 (FAPP1-PH) were labelled for the Golgi marker GM130 (red) and processed for immunofluorescence. MDCK cells expressing the GST-tagged FAPP1-PH were processed for immuno-electron microscopy and labelled with anti-GST antibodies (far right panel). Notice the polarised distribution of FAPP1-PH at the trans-pole of the Golgi stacks, as indicated by the presence of a clathrin-coated profile (arrowhead). See text for details.
