Fig. S1. Ruthenium Red (RR) inhibits TRPV4-dependent GTTR uptake. (A-D) Cells were treated with GTTR for 30 seconds in the absence of extracellular Ca2+. Without RR treatment, KPT2-TRPV4 cells showed higher levels of GTTR fluorescence compared with KPT2-pBabe cells (A,B). After RR treatment, GTTR uptake was significantly inhibited in both KPT2-TRPV4 and KPT2-pBabe cells (C,D). The inhibitory effect of RR was greater in KPT2-TRPV4 cells than in KPT2-pBabe cells (E).
