  Fig. S1. Percentage of bromodeoxyuridine (BrdU)-positive cells in cells overexpressing VRK1 or VRK3. HeLa cells transfected with Flag-tagged VRK1 and VRK3 were treated with 10 μM BrdU for the indicated times and then fixed. Immunofluorescence of VRK (detected with anti-Flag for the primary antibody and FITC-conjugated secondary antibody) and BrdU (detected with anti-BrdU and TRITC-conjugated secondary antibody) was observed under fluorescence microscopy and cells expressing VRK alone and both VRK and BrdU were counted. The percentage of BrdU-positive cells in Flag-positive cells from more than 100 cells was plotted.
