  Movie 1. Binding and internalization of EGF and transferrin in a COS-7 cell imaged by TIRF uninterruptedly for 30 minutes. COS-7 cells in KRH buffer at 35°C were exposed to fluorescent EGF (red) and Tf (green). Time intervals after addition of ligands are indicated in the lower right corner. At 2 minutes, the cells were washed once (flash) and the laser angle is shifted to image further into the cell. At 5 minutes, saturating amounts of unlabeled transferrin were added (flash). Imaging continued for an additional 25 minutes.
