(A) Representative wt and uPAR-KO cross-sections of 3-day-old wounds stained for LN5 ({gamma}2 chain) and counterstained with hematoxylin and eosin (HE). (B) Wounded skins of wt and uPAR-KO mice were collected at different times after incision, lysed and immunoblotted with an anti-LN5 ({gamma}2 chain) antibody. The immunoblot shows one representative experiment, whereas the histogram shows the average values obtained with eight wt and seven uPAR-KO mice. The amounts of LN5 ({gamma}2 chain) are expressed as fold increase relative to the uninjured uPAR-KO mice (left-most bar, arbitrary value of 1) ± s.d.
