(B) There was no significant difference in the proportion of cells at G0-G1 phase and S phase between Aqp4+/+ and Aqp4–/– ANSC populations. The proportion of G2-M phase cells was increased in Aqp4–/– ANSCs compared with the wild type (*P<0.05, n=3). Moreover, AQP4 knockout significantly increased the basal apoptosis of ANSCs (*P<0.05, n=3).
