The model shows that all importin-interacting residues (shown in green) are involved in DNA binding. R191 interacts with G -76 (detail in D), and K161, K170, K187, R220 and R224 interact with the phosphate backbone. The Q239 is too far away to play a role in DNA binding. DNA is shown in grey.
